Take your Hawaiian slack key playing to the next level! In May, Mark provided Gryphonites with an introduction to slack-key fingerpicking using “Taro Patch” (Open-G) and “C-Wahine” tunings.  In this workshop, Mark will review – then augment – your understanding of Taro Patch using new chords and exercises, plus delve into Mauna Loa (added 6th) tuning. Mark will show you how to play Keo la Beamer’s beautiful “E Ku’u Morning Dew” and his own “Lihue Luau.” There will be plenty of hands-on playing in this workshop!
