The Portland Guitar Society features a local performer at its monthly meetings, which occur on the first Monday of each month. I will play for them on November 5. (Get out and vote the next day!!) Acoustic Guitar Summit returns to the Lake Theater Monday Night Music Series in Lake Oswego, Oregon, for their annual holiday concert on December 11. This is a fantastic, but small venue. Seating is limited to 100. Food and beverage are available. Tickets.

A Tribute to John Renbourn

September, 2016 Greta and I were invited to a tribute gathering this month for English guitar hero John Renbourn. John died at the age of 70 at his home in Scotland in March of 2015. Unfortunately, we had to turn down the invitation to attend.
